The Analyst role within the Capital Markets Group will assist with all functions of capital raising and mergers and acquisitions. The job purpose is to assist the Senior Managing Director in the project management of client engagements. Some key responsibilities will be to manage various databases for targeted institutional investors, formulate due diligence questionnaires, and coordinate meetings and presentation materials. The analyst will also be responsible for creating investor presentations and other forms of marketing materials. Finally, from a legal standpoint, the associate will be expected to coordinate client contracts and other legal items with internal general counsel and compliance officers.
The qualifications for this position require a minimum of 2 years of experience at a financial services firm, strong analytical and communication skills (both oral and written), excellent use of Microsoft Office programs including Excel and PowerPoint, aptitude for detail and a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to set clear priorities in managing work flow. Qualified candidates need to demonstrate key competencies including a working knowledge of standard investment management concepts and a proven ability to plan and organize with a high degree of creativity and innovation.
